Japan to Open its First ever GAME

Japan has approved an incredible $8.1 billion (1.08 trillion yen) deal for a resort to be built in Osaka. This will be the countries first ever casino, following a recent law that was passed in 2018 to legalise gambling in the country.
The project has many backers. The U.S casino operator MGM Resorts and Japanese based ORIX Group both own a 40% stake each, and a further 20 companies share the additional 20% share. The Osaka IR Project, as it is known will predominantly be managed by both MGM and ORIX.
However, as groups such as MUFG Bank and Sumitomo Mitsui Banking Corp will also be providing significant funds, they will also be contributing to the development, according to the local government.

New Casino from Desert Diamond in the West Valley

Construction has begun on a new $450 million casino development spearheaded by Tohono O’odham Nation Gaming Enterprise outside of Glendale, AZ. Work started on Phase 1 of the newest Desert Diamond Casino with an official ground-breaking ceremony on April 12, 2023.
Desert Diamond has four existing locations in Southern Arizona,(West Valley, Tucson, Sahuarita and Why). Desert Diamond Casinos is an Enterprise of the Tohono O’odham Nation with a proven track record of operating successful casinos in harmony with stated Tribal values and goals.
CEO Mike Bean noted “With this latest major investment in the West Valley, our new Desert Diamond Casino will bring more jobs, economic opportunity, and entertainment options to this vibrant region.
